It's a niche market, and difficult to enjoy if your hosts suck. I once stayed at a B&B outside London where every morning the owners would go on racist rants at the breakfast table. The husband-and-wife team of Jensen and Grace Lorenzen took a 19th-century home that once belonged to the town's founder, and turned it into the magical inn you see above. Jensen is an amazingly talented chef, with dishes ranging from Buttermilk-brined Riconda Dairy chicken with chanterelle mushrooms, to a fresh market yam puree.
