Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are all anyone's talking about this week — the second brother is now wed and breaking the hearts of his fans everywhere. And of course, you couldn't have a royal wedding without controversies.

Of course, wedding preparations are already underway — Prince William and Kate's affair was the event of the century and there's no doubt Prince Harry and Meghan will also astound us all. However, nobody ever talks about the honeymoon.

Will and Kate picked the Seychelles Islands — a small grouping of land in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa — for their private vacation together. Maybe Harry and Meghan will also choose an equally exotic place — but there's already so many amazing spots in their home country.

Here are seven vacation spots in Great Britain — besides London — that the royal couple can honeymoon in.

1. Yorkshire

Food is the name of the game here — Yorkshire has the most Michelin-starred restaurants than anywhere else in the country besides London. You can also walk among old ruins, ride bikes in the countryside or participate in a tea tour.

There's a million things to do in this beautiful district, but the couple may want to go during the off-season — more than 40 million visitors travel to Yorkshire every year. I'm sure the highly publicized pair will want privacy on their honeymoon.

2. Norfolk

Norfolk is the place to go for architecture — you can find huge mansions, weared down castles and lost churches to take your loved one too. If that doesn't interest you, you can also drive along the beach, play golf or try to spot the seals along the coastlines.

3. Bath

Bath is another obvious choice for romantics who love small towns — but don't underestimate this quaint city. It's got tons of galleries, museum and restaurants while also being the home of both Jane Austen and the Roman Baths.

4. Cotswolds

Like the rest of England, Cotswolds is a surreal area full of small towns and beautiful landscapes of rolling hills — it's especially famous for its museums, galleries and fun festivals. You can also visit magnificent gardens and wildlife, take romantic walks around farms or relax in an accommodating spa.

5. Scottish Highlands

If you're looking for a more rugged terrain, the Scottish Highlands will provide — this region is filled with kilts and bagpipes so there's never a dull, non-cultural moment. The Highlands also sports the largest selection of wildlife from puffins and reindeer to ospreys and cattle.

6. The Lake District

The Lake District boasts one of the greenest landscapes in all of England — fill your eyes with a myriad of lakes, forests and rolling hills while strolling down the countryside or biking on a beaten path. If William Wordsworth was inspired by the scenery, the royal couple definitely will too.

7. Devon

Devon is the place to go if you're a beach person — which we already know the first royal couple is. Plan a day exploring the National Parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor, visit artisan food stands or take a tea break. Full of explorable caves and big waves, a honeymoon in Devon is guaranteed to be a scenic choice.
